Nobody likes a whiner, but in the spirit that this week has totally sucked a$$, I am just going to get stuff off my chest.

Every morning this week I have woke up with the total amount of about 10% motivation! It totally took me for a spin because I know what I want to make of myself and what I want to become! You know those inspirational pictures that ask you if you would rather be sorry or sore the next day, I was the one feeling sorry! I feel as if I have put on at least 20 pounds haha although I haven't gained any weight for slacking. I still feel that I wasn't doing what was best for my state of mind and my body. Probably because I wasn't right! But I have been doing some major research and i have heard of so many people becoming burnt out on a diet or a workout plan forcing them to want to give up on their weight loss and fitness goals.

So I have been sitting here thinking of ways to change my way of thinking and things that I can do to get my self back in the game to success because one thing I do know is I want to be able to say that I actually stuck with it this time and that I hit a few bumps in the road but I did not give up until I exceeded my goals.

Sooo what to do what to doo...(with pointer finger tapping the side of my cricked grin)

Number 1 thing I am going to do, wake up and the first thing I am going to do is smile. I have everything I could every ask for why not reflect on that every morning. Then I am going to have me a nice healthy breakfast. Plan for the days ahead as in workout and diet planning. Get to WERK and build those muscles and loose those pounds. Have some sort of fantastic snack and then enjoy time with my youngest until it is time to make lunch for me and him and PM. Then I am going to eat that like I haven't ate in days. Play with the kids as much as I can while getting the awesome household duties done. Then patiently wait for PM to return home after work and then spend the night loving and enjoying my time with my amazing little family.

I know I know it feels as if I was just blabbing but I really needed to type that up and read it to give the motivation to actually want to follow through with my weight loss and fitness goal.

My Guidelines

I am always looking for new ways to better myself in everything that I do , whether it be doing make up, fitness techniques or being a wonderful fiancé to my wonderful and supportive man or to be the best mother I can be. So this post is basically for me to draw out some guidelines that will help me remember my goals and actually keep striving to accomplish them.

  1. DON'T LISTEN TO THE HATERS: This is somewhat hard and easy for me at the same time. There are people out there that have told me there is no way that I can achieve my fitness goals because I have had 5 children and I shouldn't put myself before their needs. But I do know what I do for my kids and I know that it is ok to make time for myself and I am teaching my children about nutrition along the way.
  2. USE MY SUPPORT SYSTEM: As I have haters as everyone does I have the most fantastic support system...My Family. My fiancé is so supportive in whatever I choose to do and he knows when something makes me happy he wants me to stay that way. Happy wife happy life kind of thing. My sister is always there for me and always listens when I have things on my mind some days I don't know how I would get through the day with out have her by my side. My mom supports me in everything that I do as every mother should unless its effecting your health in a negative way. And the most important piece of my support system is my children. There have been days that I am doing push ups and my kids get on the floor and do them with me and they enjoy when I critique their form and they look up and say " Is this the right way mommy?" or when they see me struggling during a workout they sit and cheer me on "Come on mommy you can do it." So when I see them watching I know that it is time to push harder so they know that you can achieve your goals even if it may be a small one as to get thru a vigorous 40 minute workout.
  3. PLAN AHEAD: Always draw out a workout and diet plan. This makes it easier not to put it off for myself because I get a great feeling of accomplishment when I get to cross something off a list of things to do. This also helps for future reference. Helps to look back and see what days that you struggled with and why. Maybe one day made you more sore than another then you know that is something maybe you should work on or work on going deeper on the days that aren't making you that soar. What did I eat the week that I lost those 3 pounds? What did I eat the week that I gained those 2 pounds back. Like I said it is a great reference for the future.
  4. REMOVE THE NEGATIVE: OK OK so this kind of goes with No. 1 but when I say negative I mean the thoughts that are going through your head when you want to give up and quit moving forward because you are stuck at a certain weight or you cant seem to get that perfect form in a workout that you are trying to keep up with. Just remember that you can and you will. There's no such thing as perfect but practice will get you pretty danm close.
  5. BE IN THE BEST SHAPE THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN AT THE END OF THE DAY:  This is to help yourself feel better at the end of the day that you accomplished those workouts and the most difficult thing ate clean throughout the day. I know that I have a great feeling of accomplishment when I can cross off the workout for the day and knowing that every night I go to bed a little bit stronger.

Well those are my top 5 for now I'm sure that these will change throughout my journey but I feel the need to write these down now so I have something to look back on in the future and I know what to change if something is not working out for me.

Co- Clenz: Yay or Nay

So I have heard so many bad things about having to take pills, powders etc. Hey you shouldn't take those unless you know the effects that they will have on you! They just say they are completely natural! Pills and powders are just for the people who don't want to get off their lazy asses and actually do something to loose the weight! You don't need supplements until you are training at an advanced level! And so on and so on! But I have different thoughts on this subject.

Yes you are taking dietary supplements but if you have tried the dieting and working out thing and nothing seems to be helping you shed those stubborn first pounds where do you go from there? I asked myself the same question. Well here is your answer a nice and healthy Detox or Cleanse. Some people may say that green tea is the best and healthiest way to detox, but I am here to say what if you cant stand the taste of green tea or those nasty over powering water mixtures that you find on pintrest?? A nice detox pill and strict diet may be the way you need to go!

Ifyou are looking for a great detox cleanse then the Co-Clenz is the perfect cleanse for you if you are looking to drop those dreaded pounds that just wont come off. If taken properly while following the guidelines of the detox and Co-Clenz diet it is possible that you can loose any where from 2-10 lbs in 5 days. Yeah I know only five days and you can loose that much believe me its possible I lost a total of 8 pounds while taking the Co-Clenz pills and following the detox diet! This diet is in no way for the easy tempted stomachs!

Co-Clenz™ is a special blend of herbs, a completely natural way to help
balance and support proper function of the digestive system. Proper waste elimination is necessary for good health. The use of all natural Co-Clenz™ may help protect the body against toxins and is
important for establishing regularity. Faulty digestion and elimination develop through years of improper lifestyle and dietary habits. When we don’t eliminate our waste, toxins back up in the colon, which can cause auto-intoxication or self-poisoning. This can also hamper the absorption of vital nutrients and provide a breeding ground for un- healthy bacteria. Co-Clenz™ may help this.

Now back to the regular program as I am sure that you could tell I pulled these details from the Saba website. But everything that it says that these pills do, they do. I felt the pounds falling off through out the days while taking them. I followed the strict diet plan of eating only 3 meals a day and a small snack before bed followed by taking two of the Co-Clenz pills and making sure to keep myself hydrated by drinking that water. Water is a MUST on this diet because it helps you from wanting to snack as you would everyday! I myself thought this to be the hardest on the first day because I had just got myself adjusted to eating 4-6 small meals a day! Throughout this diet I continued working out everyday for about 20 minutes and maybe a little over on some days! I had to keep myself very busy so that's when I whipped out that list of things that I had been putting off for a rainy day. Which was another plus. I found these pills to be just right in size! I only mention this because I know some pills that I have taken have been those huge horse pills that you have to cut in half just to swallow.

Overall I thought that these pills are a great way to loose those hard to loose first pounds.
Just remember no pills are entirely effective unless you eat clean and proper exercise. So get to work bitch!!!

This past week has been a very trying week for me and our family because what one of us goes through we all go through together. We are your normal family and have ups and downs like any other family, but with my extreme depression kicking in  when something goes wrong that wasn't expected takes a terrible toll on the entire family.

I tend to take every thing to heart and most things can break me down to feel as if I am nothing. That's why I took on this challenge of becoming fit and healthy. Being healthy will not only make my appearance better but helps me to deal with stress and lets me know that I am in control of something in my life and that no one else can take that away from me.

There are often days that I don't want to get out of bed, but rolling over and feeling sore is what helps to motivate me to get to WERK! So I have made a new promise to myself today that no matter what gets thrown in my way to build that bridge and get over it.

I have to say that my first month I became very discouraged but after stepping on that scale after a months hard work and seeing that I had lost so many pounds and then trying on those pants that I haven't fit into for years and I could actually pull them up and button them gave me a huge boost in confidence. Then it became an addiction, everywhere I went and everyone I talked to it was about fitness and my fiancé even got to the point to where he told me that I needed to go to school for physical training because it  had struck such a great interest to me.

So then I sit and wonder why I let such little things get in my way, I know what I want and what I have to do to achieve those GOALS ( I capitalized goals because I am no longer going to sit and wish I am going after what I want)  So here is to a new day tomorrow and a new beginning although I have started my fitness journey I am restarting it tomorrow and I am going to stay positive this time with no set backs.

Its ok to have set backs but NEVER let those set backs from letting you achieve what you want in life, whatever it may be!!!

You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder gonna shake the ground
You held me down, but I got up (HEY!)
Get ready cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar
Louder, louder than a lion
Cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar

30 Day Shred

Ohhh boy the 30 Day Shred with Jillian Michaels, I would love to have Jillian Michaels as my personal trainer just for one day because like she says she pushes you because she knows what you are capable of and what you can achieve and she pushes you and gets results.

In the 30 Day Shred she gives you three levels to complete in 30 days (obviously), with beginner and experienced moderations. I myself did the each level for 10 days and when I hit day 5 on that level I would push myself to do the experienced moderation.

In each level she warms you up with a 2- minute warm up, then right into the three 6 minute circuits with her 3-2-1 interval system, 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, 1 minute abs. Then to finish you workout with a 2 minute cool down. One level should last you for about 20 minutes, and in my opinion who cant fit in 20 minutes a day. The only things that you need for this workout are the DVD of course, hand weights (3,5,or 8), and a mat if you are working out on a hard surface!

Level one I found to be very difficult the first day because it being my first workout I wanted to die. Over time I progressed and it became to where I could make it through the complete level without having to take a break. That's when I knew that it was time to move to level 2. Which in my opinion seemed to be the most fun out of the 3.  It was significantly harder than level 1, but my determination kept me from shutting the DVD off. On Day 10 of that level and I could make it through the level but pushing just as hard as I did on the first day on that level it was time to progress to level 3. Level 3 I will tell you know that I didn't enjoy it at all every day I was thankful that it was getting closer to being done with that level. But yet I still got up and did it every day for 10 days. This level was progressively a little bit harder than level 2.

Over all I really enjoyed this work out DVD and I see myself coming back to this in the future. it helped to build stronger muscles and loose some inches and of course shed some pounds.

Simply Saturday

Do you ever have those days where its just so cold and dreary out side that you just want to stay cuddled up under the covers and watch Netflix all day?? Well today was one of those days for me! Ehhh well until I heard the voices of my kids laughing in the living room.

I was very sluggish this morning and I slowly did my household duties ( the breakfast making, the dish doing, and the laundry loader and folder) that I normally have completed by 8:30. To your surprise I didn't complete these tasks until 10:00, I know having all 5 of the kids home didn't help me get it done as soon but when I finally finished I was so excited I finally got to sit on the couch. UUUGHH, I hate that place it makes me feel like a bum. After giving my food enough time to digest it was already time to work out. NOOOOO...I was dreading this all morning long. I felt that I couldn't and I remember even telling myself "we can skip today one day don't matter." After sitting and actually realizing what I was saying I got up off my ass and got to work.

On days that you don't want to are the days that you work the hardest and push yourself harder in my opinion. When I finally finished I felt 90% better than I did before, even though I was sore, breathing hard and had sweat everywhere. I ended up having a great and very productive day with my family! Working out is my stress reliever and it makes me feel like a boss every day.

Moral of the story is DO NOT let your mind control you. You are capable of so much more than what your mind tells you. I had to learn this the hard way as will you because you have to experience it yourself in order to understand. Keep going don't give up and when your mind tells you to stop just ignore it and keep going.

Welcome

(image taken from Google)

Hi there!! Are you the kind of person that sees all these amazing body transformations on social networks and Television and you sit back and wish that, that could be you some day, but you lacked to find the drive and determination to actually get off the couch and take action? If so then you and I have a lot in common. I would scroll through my news feed and read and see all these wonderful transformations and tell my self ah shit I will just start tomorrow! After a lot of hoping and wishing that it would just miraculously happen over night and my body never changing I finally took that leap and dove into a Daily workout plan and most importantly a healthy way of eating.

You will be able to keep track of my progress and my set backs ( we all have them) and hopefully find some tricks, techniques, and recipes that will help you or someone you know! I do not consider my self a professional, all of the posts that will be made are from my personal experience in this huge change that I have decided to overcome and be the girl who can actually say that I did it! Lets do this together and we can walk each other through this! Stay Strong Confident and use that Determination to make you want to get up and do it again tomorrow! Now lets get started...................
